Learn how to draw, sketch and paint beautiful botanical art with Sarah Hankinson.
Join Sarah as she takes you through exercises and projects from her book Art Class: Flowers and Foliage (you’ll receive a book as a gift during the workshop!) Using an array of botanicals as your inspiration you will be guided through simple exercises and more structured botanical art projects.
This class is aimed at beginners who want a taster in drawing or intermediates who want a different take on their creative processes. Sarah's practice blends traditional and non traditional approaches to still life drawing - no experience in drawing or illustration is required.
With a focus on appreciating nature and making time to play, this workshop makes the beloved style of botanical art accessible to all. The hope is that each participant will find their own way within the workshop, and have the confidence to go forward incorporating still life drawing into their daily lives.

Our workshops are suitable for persons 16 years or older. Give us a shout if you are thinking of bringing a young person and we can let you know if we can make it work!

Cancellations & Refunds
If The Windsor Workshop cancels the class, you are entitled to a refund, a transfer or credit note.
If you can't attend the class you’re welcome to send someone in your place OR a refund can be requested 4 days before class starts. (An admin fee of AU$50.00 applies). A transfer can be requested 4 days before the class starts - free of charge. A credit note can be requested 4 days before the class starts - free of charge. No changes will be allowed after these times.
